The IC200ALG320 is a 4-channel, 12-bit current analog output module from the GE Fanuc VersaMax Series, designed to provide reliable analog current-sourcing outputs for industrial automation applications. This module features four individual outputs capable of sourcing a current range of 4 mA to 20 mA, with an over-range capability of approximately 20.38 mA per channel. During setup, configuration is straightforward, utilizing a jumper to determine the output behavior during interruptions in backplane power or communication; outputs can retain their last state or revert to a default state under these conditions. The IC200ALG320 includes LED indicators for enhanced operational visibility, with a green FLD power LED signaling the presence of user-side power to the analog field circuits, and a green OK LED indicating successful recognition of backplane power. The module's performance is influenced by factors such as ambient temperature and external voltage, which affect the minimum load resistance per channel. For optimal signal integrity, shielded twisted cables are recommended for all connections, and if the module is mounted on a terminal-style I/O carrier, the cable shield can be directly connected to the carrier in accordance with the field wiring specifications. The IC200ALG320 is compatible with the original release of VersaMax CPUs and Network Interface Units (NIUs).
