The IC200ALG265 is a 15-channel, 15-bit voltage analog input module designed for the GE Fanuc VersaMax Series. This single-ended module offers an interface for 15 voltage inputs, all sharing a common return, and is suitable for use in SIL2 applications. It provides enhanced overvoltage protection and internal diagnostics, safeguarding against input voltages of up to 30V DC, and holds TUV certification for safety-relevant systems. The module accepts an input voltage range from -10 V to +10 V, with a minimum input impedance of 100 kOhms. It operates without the need for an external power source, although external power must be supplied for user transceivers. Compatibility with CPU/NIU facilitates intelligent data processing, delivering 15 words of analog data input. In the event of a module failure or power loss, the analog inputs can be configured to either default or hold the last known state. The module is equipped with a jumper on the carrier terminals to select input ranges of either 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA. Additionally, it features a self-diagnostic capability that detects A/D conversion malfunctions exceeding ±6%, turning off the status LED after three consecutive errors. If a fault occurs, the malfunction is reported to the CPU/NIU, necessitating either module replacement or a power cycle to reset the error. This module consumes 150 mA from the +5V bus and has an update rate of 7.5 ms.
