The Fuji Electric KDRC3HE3R is a 460/480V high impedance AC line reactor compatible with Fuji FRENIC series variable frequency drives for 20 HP NEC motor ratings (27A rated current) — UL Type 3R enclosed construction, rated for outdoor installation — protected against rain, sleet, and ice.

High impedance reactors provide greater harmonic current reduction than standard low impedance reactors by adding higher series impedance to the drive's AC input. They are the preferred choice for installations with weak power supplies, shared distribution systems with high background THD, or where utility harmonic requirements are particularly strict. The tradeoff is a slightly larger voltage drop under full load, which should be accounted for in the installation's voltage budget.
