The Fuji Electric DCR4-250C is a DC link reactor (DC choke) for 250 kW drives (400V systems) for use with Fuji FRENIC series variable frequency drives.
Installed between the drive's internal DC bus and the input rectifier, the DCR4-250C reduces input current total harmonic distortion (THD), improves input power factor, and protects the drive's rectifier diodes and DC bus capacitors from line voltage spikes, transients, and notching caused by other loads on the same distribution system. DC reactors are particularly effective at attenuating 5th and 7th order harmonic currents, the dominant harmonics produced by 6-pulse VFD rectifiers, helping facilities comply with IEEE 519 harmonic limits without the higher cost of an active harmonic filter.
The DCR4-250C mounts inside or adjacent to the drive panel and connects directly to the drive's DC bus terminals. Selection is based on drive kW rating and input voltage class — confirm the correct part number for your specific FRENIC drive model before ordering. Genuine Fuji Electric OEM component.
