    The **EL4004** is a 4-channel analog output terminal designed for the EtherCAT system. It converts digital 12-bit integer values from the automation controller into **0 to 10 V** signals. With high density in a 12mm housing, it serves as the interface for controlling actuators, frequency converters, and valve terminals.

    Digital to Analog Conversion

    The EL4004 acts as a bridge between the digital logic of the PLC (TwinCAT) and the physical analog world. It takes a 12-bit number (0 to 4095) and translates it into a voltage level.
