The National Instruments SCXI-1102C Voltage Input Module (Part Number: 776572-02C) is engineered to provide advanced signal conditioning for a wide range of sensing applications. This module features 32 differential analog input channels and is equipped with a three-pole low-pass filter with a 10 kHz cutoff frequency, ensuring precise measurement of thermocouples, low-bandwidth voltage and millivolt sources, as well as 4 to 20 mA current sources and 0 to 20 mA process-current sources. It supports a maximum working voltage of ±10 V and requires a warm-up time of 20 minutes for optimal performance. The gain and input range are software-configurable, allowing users to select amplification settings of either 1 or 100 per channel, maximizing compatibility with E/M Series DAQ instruments.

In terms of power requirements, the module operates at a maximum of 15 mA at 5 V and 150 mA at ±15 V. Users can manage configuration settings for sensor type and gain/input signal range via NI-DAQmx or traditional NI-DAQ software platforms, including applications, task settings, and the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool. The SCXI-1102C requires annual calibration to maintain accuracy and reliability.
