National Instruments PXI-8102

The National Instruments PXI-8102 is a high-performance embedded PXI controller tailored for modular instrumentation and data acquisition applications. It is powered by an Intel Celeron T3100 dual-core processor, operating at 1.9 GHz, and features an integrated memory architecture with standard RAM of 1 GB, which can be expanded up to 4 GB via SO-DIMM slots. This controller supports a variety of operating systems, with specific part numbers tailored to Windows Vista, Windows XP, local OS, and Real-Time Embedded Software.

The PXI-8102 offers a comprehensive range of connectivity options, including two Hi-Speed USB ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, one RS-232 serial port, and a parallel port. For video output, the controller is equipped with a DVI-I interface, complemented by a DVI-to-VGA adapter for compatibility with VGA monitors. Additional peripheral connectivity is facilitated through a 24-pin DSUB, 9-pin DSUB, RJ45 port, and a 36-pin champ connector.

It operates within a recommended temperature range of 5 to 50 °C for optimal performance. The PXI-8102 requires one system slot and one controller expansion slot for installation and boasts a current requirement of 4.8 A max at 3.3 V, 7.8 A at 5 V, and 0.075 A at 12 V.
