The Fagor FT-246 is a long-travel linear scale with 24,640 mm (24.64 m, about 970.1 in or 80.8 ft) of measuring travel. It belongs to Fagor's FT series, which uses a graduated steel tape with a 100 µm pitch in a heavy-duty body and covers travels up to 30 m, for long machine axes, such as long-bed lathes and boring mills, beyond the 3,040 mm reach of glass scales.
