Description
A 1.5 in (38 mm) shafted encoder for commercial and light industrial duty. It pairs a precision bearing set and a hardened stainless steel shaft with EPC's Opto-ASIC sensor circuitry, giving OEMs a clean, dependable signal without paying for a heavy industrial housing. This unit is configured with a 1/4 in (0.250") bore on the 4-hole Servo mount, resolving 1000 cycles per revolution, and delivering quadrature A & B on a differential line driver (RS422-compatible) output. It runs on 5 V DC and terminates in an 8-pin M12 Euro with a 1 ft 6 in cable. It is sealed to IP50. Typical applications include OEM machinery, light industrial automation, and general motion control.
