Microprocessor-based WEG soft starters are electronic starters that accelerate, decelerate and protect three-phase induction motors by regulating the voltage applied to the motor. Using DSP (Digital Signal Processor) control, the SSW05 Plus Micro Soft-Starters combine strong starting and stopping performance with a favorable cost/benefit ratio, and their operator interface makes parameter setting, start-up and daily operation straightforward. Their compact form saves panel space while building in all protections for the driven motor.
