Description
The Fuji Electric KRF1600VCB is a 690V EMC/RFI input filter for use with Fuji FRENIC-MEGA series variable frequency drives, installed on the AC input power line.
VFDs generate high-frequency conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI) on the AC power line from their PWM switching. The KRF1600VCB suppresses this conducted interference to levels complying with IEC/EN 61800-3 EMC requirements. Required for CE marking compliance in Category C1 (residential) and C2 (industrial) environments in Europe, and strongly recommended near sensitive electronic equipment, measurement instruments, or communications systems.
Mount as close to the drive as possible on the AC input side and bond to a clean earth ground for maximum attenuation. Genuine Fuji Electric OEM accessory for the FRENIC-MEGA series.
