Description
The Fuji Electric KDRF2H is a 460/480V high impedance AC line reactor compatible with Fuji FRENIC series variable frequency drives for 60 HP NEC motor ratings (77A rated current) — open (ventilated) construction, UL listed, for installation inside a customer-supplied enclosure.
High impedance reactors provide greater harmonic current reduction than standard low impedance reactors by adding higher series impedance to the drive's AC input. They are the preferred choice for installations with weak power supplies, shared distribution systems with high background THD, or where utility harmonic requirements are particularly strict. The tradeoff is a slightly larger voltage drop under full load, which should be accounted for in the installation's voltage budget.
Key benefits: (1) significant THD reduction — often exceeding 50% — to help meet IEEE 519 requirements; (2) protection of the drive's input rectifier and DC bus capacitors from line transients and voltage notching; (3) improved input power factor. Compatible with Fuji FRENIC-Mini, FRENIC-Ace, and FRENIC-MEGA drives. UL listed.
