Description
The Fuji Electric ACL-40B is a zero-phase (common-mode) noise reducing reactor for use with Fuji Electric variable frequency drives and motor installations. This item has been discontinued; availability is limited to remaining stock.
Zero-phase reactors suppress common-mode (ground leakage) noise currents generated by VFD output PWM switching on motor cables. Unlike differential-mode line reactors, they present high impedance to common-mode currents flowing on all three phases simultaneously, reducing EMI emissions, motor shaft voltages, and bearing currents that can cause premature motor bearing failure. They are particularly beneficial on long motor cable runs. Install on the VFD output side with all three motor conductors passing through the core.
