The National Instruments NI-5782 is a high-performance Transceiver Adapter Module engineered for FlexRIO systems, featuring a bandwidth of 330 MHz, making it ideal for applications involving baseband signal generation and acquisition, alongside real-time, in-line processing. This module is optimized for signal analysis when interfaced with a PXI FPGA module within FlexRIO systems. The NI-5782 excels in a diverse range of applications such as bit error rate testing, radio frequency identification, near-field communication testing, RF modulation and demodulation, signal intelligence, software-defined radio testing, and real-time spectrum analysis. The module is available in two configurations: AC-coupled (Part Number: 782705-01) and DC-coupled (Part Number: 782705-02). It incorporates two analog input channels capable of achieving a sampling rate of 250 MS/s and two analog output channels that can reach up to 500 MS/s. The device features a comprehensive front panel that includes an AUX I/O connector, a CLK IN connector, a TRIG connector, and dedicated analog input (Channel-0 and Channel-1) and output (Channel-0 and Channel-1) connectors, all with a 50 Ω input impedance, except for the AUX I/O. The NI-5782 is designed with CLIP capabilities for enhanced control and integration, along with a VCO operating as a free-running clock to support various clocking functions.
