The National Instruments 781219-01, also known as the PXIe-5630, is a compact 2-Port Vector Network Analyzer designed for high-performance applications within PXI Express systems. This versatile VNA performs vector measurements of transmission (S21) and reflection (S11) coefficients over a frequency range spanning from 10 MHz to 6 GHz, making it an excellent choice for automated design validation and production testing. It features a high dynamic range and exceptional measurement accuracy, with frequency accuracy maintained at ±2.5 ppm, supported by both internal and external timebase aging and temperature stability to ensure reliable operations.

The internal timebase demonstrates a low aging rate of ±1 ppm and a temperature stability of ±2.5 ppm/°C. The analyzer covers a power range of +5 dBm to -30 dBm, with an accuracy of ±2 dB at 5 dBm test port power and ±4 dB across all test port power levels. This granularity is further enhanced by a power step resolution of 0.5 dB, allowing precise adjustments for diverse measurement scenarios. Optimized for low noise and high dynamic range, the receiver characteristics exhibit a noise floor that varies from <-115 dBm/Hz at frequencies below 3 GHz to <-110 dBm/Hz up to 6 GHz.
