The ProSoft Technology MVI69-GEC is an ASCII-over-Ethernet (TCP/IP) interface module for 1769-format compact in-chassis platforms. It links the host controller with ASCII devices such as printers, labelers, and barcode systems across an Ethernet network, offloading message handling from the controller CPU and exposing data through easy-to-use tags.
Configurable sockets and message sizes, plus ladder/AOI-based data movement, make it well suited to labeling, printing, and MES connectivity tasks.
