The GuardianX DP50 is a NEMA 4X-rated, panel-mounted air conditioning system engineered to maintain precise temperature control in demanding industrial and corrosive environments. Available in 208/230/220 and 480 volt models, it delivers reliable closed-loop cooling that completely isolates the enclosure interior from ambient airflow, preventing warm or contaminated outside air from compromising the sensitive electronic components within.

The system incorporates a compressor short cycle protector that significantly extends compressor life by preventing rapid, consecutive starts that can damage the unit, particularly valuable in installations subject to solar gain or fluctuating internal heat loads. The condenser blower controller on 208/230/220V models optimizes energy efficiency and thermal management. Both the condenser and evaporator coils are epoxy-coated to withstand 1000 hours of salt spray testing per ASTM B 117, providing robust protection in moderately corrosive settings. Internal corrosion protection on the refrigeration system is standard on all NEMA 4X models, with additional protective options available for severe environments like wastewater treatment facilities. For maximum durability in highly corrosive applications, a stainless steel shell option is available.

Programmable thermostat and temperature alarm functions allow precise control and early alert capabilities for temperature deviations. The system features reusable multi-layer aluminum filters with non-drying adhesive coating to maintain cleanliness of internal components. A six-foot three-wire power cord is included, with external junction box provisions for permanent wiring on 480V models. All GuardianX DP50 units are fully gasketed to maintain NEMA Type 4X compliance per UL50 standards, UL/CUL Listed, and CE Compliant. The system utilizes R410a refrigerant with zero ozone depleting potential, meeting current environmental regulations.
