National Instruments PXI-4132

The National Instruments PXI-4132 is a high-performance PXI Source Measure Unit (SMU) designed for precision measurement applications. Featuring a single isolated channel with a four-quadrant output, this 10 pA, ±100 V SMU is optimized for accurate leakage testing on integrated circuits (ICs), printed circuit boards (PCBs), cables, and discrete components. The PXI-4132 integrates external guarding and 4-wire sensing for enhanced measurement integrity, making it suitable for high-speed current-voltage testing across a variety of devices, including organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and diodes. With a maximum source update rate of 4,200 updates per second and a trigger delay of just 500 nanoseconds, the PXI-4132 supports various input trigger types such as start, sequence, advance, source, and measure. It utilizes PXI Trigger lines <0...7> for seamless synchronization when operating multiple modules, thus facilitating complex testing workflows for devices like transistors. The module itself is designed as a 3U type, one-slot PXI module with dimensions of 2.0 cm × 13.0 cm × 21.6 cm and a weight of approximately 295 g. It is equipped with 8 position, 5.08 mm COMBICON front panel connectors for convenient interfacing. The operating temperature range for the PXI-4132 is 0 °C to 55 °C, while the storage temperature range extends from -40 °C to 70 °C. The device comes with a three-year warranty, and user and maintenance manuals are available for download.
