The Guardian DP60 is a panel-mounted air conditioning system engineered to maintain precise temperature control within electrical enclosures in demanding industrial environments. Available in 230 and 480 Volt models and rated NEMA 12, 3R, and 4 for comprehensive environmental protection, this unit delivers dependable cooling performance across a wide range of installations.

The system employs a closed-loop cooling design that isolates the enclosure interior airflow from ambient conditions, preventing untreated air from compromising the sensitive component compartment and maintaining consistent dehumidification. All units feature a heavy-duty steel shell with a baked powder finish in ANSI 61 gray, with custom color options available upon request. The condenser and evaporator coils are epoxy-coated to withstand 1000 hours of salt spray per ASTM B 117, providing extended service life in moderately corrosive environments. A built-in Compressor Short Cycle Protector guards against thermal cycling damage by preventing restart within minutes of shutdown or power interruption, significantly extending compressor life--especially beneficial in installations subject to solar gain or fluctuating internal heat loads. The integrated Condenser Blower Controller optimizes fan operation for efficient cooling while minimizing energy consumption.

Control and convenience features include a programmable thermostat for precise temperature management and a programmable temperature alarm to prompt early intervention if conditions drift out of range. All units are fully gasketed for leakproof NEMA Type 4 compliance and include reusable multi-layer aluminum filters with adhesive coating to maintain internal cleanliness.
