The Honeywell Spyder Controller, a versatile and programable 21 IO unit, is an integral part of the Honeywell industrial automation systems. Operating with 6 UI, 4 DI, 3 AO, 8 DO, this robust controller exhibits exceptional capacity, offering real-time clocking and Sylk Bus features. Its cutting-edge EIA-485 communications network enables baud rates ranging from 96 to 1152 kbits/s.

This controller is UL plenum-rated, providing an assurance of meeting safety standards for both housing and actuator components. The Sylk Bus system compatibility ensures seamless use with Sylk-enabled sensors. It can efficiently support up to 40 controllers per BACnet MS/TP segment, though under 30 is recommended for optimized performance.

To grant superior flexibility in HVAC applications, this controller has a robust function block engine that empowers application designers to programme diversified functions. Its built-in zone control functions incorporate a remote wall module interface and a scheduler for improved functionality.

The Spyder controller has a microbridge air flow sensor with a dual integral restrictor design and grants convenient user access to air flow sensor inputs. Honeywell’s design allows all wiring connections to be made to removable terminal blocks, simplifying the installation and replacement of the controller.
