The Honeywell Modutrol IV is a non-spring return motor developed with a high torque rating of 75 inch-lbs, providing reliable and efficient operation. Powered by a 120V line, it consumes a nominal power of 12 VA. It employs a proportional control method via a 135-ohm control signal and includes a transformer for effective function.

The motor is designed with an integral junction box offering NEMA 3 weather protection when mounted upright. The convenient quick-connect terminals come as standard with the motor, but a screw terminal adapter can be supplied. An adapter bracket is available to match the shaft height of older motors.

The Modutrol IV motor features field-adjustable stroke ranging from 90 to 160 degrees, providing flexibility under diverse operating conditions. Integral auxiliary switches, which are available factory-mounted or can be added in the field, enhance motor control.

All models come with dual shafts, slotted and tapped on both ends, and auxiliary switch cams. One of the unique benefits of this motor is its unwavering torque, consistent throughout the entire voltage range.

The motor can withstand a wide operating temperature of -40°F to 150°F, suitable for demanding environments. Motor mount type is foot. It also offers efficient timing between 30-60 seconds, further enhancing its performance capabilities.
