Honeywell Modutrol IV Motor, Non-Spring Return - M6284D4004-S/U

The Modutrol IV Motor is a Non-Spring Return type by Honeywell, featuring a torque rating of 150 inch-pounds. With its operational voltage of 24V that consumes 15 VA power, it enables floating control and provides non-linear feedback exclusively for applications related to slaving.

Designed to withstand various climatic conditions, this industrious motor offers an integral junction box for NEMA 3 weather protection. This feature, however, is effective only when the motor is mounted upright. One distinct characteristic of these motors is their adaptability for both normally open and normally closed valves and dampers.

These motors also feature an electrically isolated feedback potentiometer which delivers shaft position indication. The quick-connect terminals come as standard with the option of a screw terminal adapter. Additionally, an adapter bracket is available for matching the shaft height of older motors.

The Modutrol IV Motor's functionality is further enhanced by a field-adjustable stroke, ranging from 90 to 160 degrees. Factory-mounted integral auxiliary switches are available, or they can be added in the field. All models possess dual shafts which are slotted and tapped on both ends. They also have auxiliary switch cams and fixed torque throughout the entire voltage range.

With an operating temperature range from -40°F to 150°F (-40°C to 60°C), the Modutrol IV Motor is designed to reliably function in challenging environments. The connections are made via quick-connect terminals, encased in robust NEMA 3 housing.
