The National Instruments SCXI-1127 is a high-voltage Matrix/Multiplexer Switch Module designed for versatile measurement applications in industrial automation. This module features multiple configurable options, including a 1 x 32 two-wire multiplexer, two 1 x 16 two-wire multiplexers, and four 1 x 8 two-wire multiplexers, with additional configurations possible using a special terminal block such as a 4 x 8 two-wire or a 1 x 32 two-wire matrix. With software-configurable switches, the SCXI-1127 can also function as a 1 x 64 one-wire or four-wire multiplexer. The module supports both low and high-voltage applications, able to handle signals up to 250 Vrms at 200 mA and 30 VDC at 1 A, while ensuring precise low-voltage measurements through relays with minimal thermal offset. It offers 64 channels and a maximum bandwidth of 11 MHz, facilitating diverse sensor connectivity through arbitrary channel scanning and multiple input modes within a single scan. The SCXI-1127 is compatible with NI-SWITCH driver software and integrates seamlessly with application development environments, including LabVIEW, Measurement Studio, Visual Basic, and C/C++. Scanning can be conducted via software or hardware timing, with asynchronous and synchronous methods available for precise measurement synchronization.
