The National Instruments SC-2062 is an Electromechanical Relay Digital Output Board designed to facilitate seamless control of field digital signals through various NI data acquisition systems. The SC-2062 is compatible with multiple part numbers, including 776336-02, which comes equipped with a 0.2 m NB7 SC-205X cable, and 776336-12 featuring a 0.4 m NB7 SC-205X cable, as well as part number 180937C-01. This versatile relay board can be conveniently mounted on a workbench or installed in a rack-mount chassis with either a plastic cover or a metal wraparound cover. It connects easily to any 8-bit digital port of compatible NI DAQ instruments, utilizing the SC-205X series cable adapters. The SC-2062 is particularly suitable for interfacing with E Series/60xxE, 6503 (DIO-24), 6533 (DIO-32HS), and 6508 (DIO-96) DAQ devices and requires no additional software beyond that needed for the host data acquisition board.

Offering eight channels of control, the SC-2062 supports SPDT (1 Form C) relay types and features three connection points (NO, NC, and COM) for each channel. The board is outfitted with a 26-pin male ribbon-cable connector and 26 screw terminals, allowing for straightforward wiring configurations. The physical dimensions of the SC-2062 are 5.2 x 4.9 x 1.8 inches, and it operates within a temperature range of 0° to 70° C, with a storage temperature range of -55° to 125° C. The device also maintains non-condensing humidity limits of 5% to 90%. Caution is advised when connecting or disconnecting signal lines, as power should be turned off to mitigate shock risks from ground potential differences.
