The National Instruments PXI-8105 is a versatile embedded PXI controller designed for high-performance applications. Powered by an Intel Core Duo Processor T2500 operating at 2.0 GHz, this dual-core controller enables efficient multitasking, allowing simultaneous execution of multiple applications such as Microsoft Excel and NI LabVIEW in compatible environments like Windows XP. The controller features a 667 MHz Front-Side Bus and is equipped with the Intel 945GM Express chipset, optimizing performance and stability.

For connectivity, the PXI-8105 offers comprehensive I/O capabilities, including four Hi-Speed USB ports, one RS232 serial port, a GPIB (IEEE 488) controller, a 10/100/1000 BASE-TX Ethernet port, an ExpressCard/34 slot for expansion, and a Watchdog/trigger SMB. The PXI-8105 requires one system slot and three controller expansion slots for deployment. It operates within a temperature range of 5 to 50 °C, with an extended temperature option available, and complies with the PXI specification. The device is compatible with NI-DAQ hardware drivers and integrates seamlessly with various NI software platforms, including LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio.
