National Instruments PXI-7830R

The National Instruments PXI-7830R is a PXI Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Module designed for versatile industrial applications. Featuring four 16-bit analog input channels and four 16-bit analog output channels, this module is equipped with 56 bidirectional digital I/O lines that can be configured exclusively for input or output. The PXI-7830R utilizes a high-performance Virtex-II FPGA with a capacity of 1 million gates, enabling advanced processing capabilities. It supports a maximum sampling rate of 200 kS/s and a maximum update rate of 1 MS/s, making it suitable for demanding data acquisition and control tasks.

For grounded signal source configurations, the PXI-7830R can be arranged in the non-referred single-ended (NRSE) input mode to accurately handle common-mode voltage differences. The analog output channels provide a bipolar output range of ±10 V, and users can preset power-on levels by configuring the module to execute a Virtual Instrument (VI) at start-up, which simplifies the initialization of voltage levels. The PXI-7830R measures 6.3 x 3.9 inches and has a weight of 152 grams, making it compact and easy to integrate into various system setups.
