National Instruments PXI-2575

The National Instruments PXI-2575 is a high-density PXI Multiplexer Switch Module designed to support a broad range of automated testing applications. This versatile module employs electromechanical relays to efficiently route multiple signals to measurement instruments or source units, ensuring robust performance and precise control. It features multiple topologies, allowing for configurations as a 1-wire 196 x 1 multiplexer, a 2-wire 95 x 1 multiplexer, or a 2-wire 98 x 1 multiplexer, catering to various application requirements.

The PXI-2575 is built with socketed relays, facilitating easy replacement to minimize maintenance efforts. The relays boast an electrical life of approximately 105 operations at rated load, with a typical operating time of 1 ms and a maximum of 3.4 ms, ensuring quick response for dynamic applications. With a switch bandwidth of 20 MHz and a maximum switching power of 60 W (62.5 VA, DC to 60 Hz) per channel, it meets the demands of high-performance testing scenarios. This module includes a 200 POS LFH Matrix 50 I/O connector, and while not recommended for 2-wire resistance measurements, it can effectively be programmed through various software platforms, including NI-SWITCH, NI-DAQmx, Measurement Studio, LabWindows/CVI, LabVIEW, and NI Switch Executive. For connectivity, the PXI-2575 supports two cable configurations: a 1 m LFH to 50-pin D-SUB Switch Cable and a 2 m LFH Connector to Bare Wire Switch Cable. The module weighs 8.1 oz. and has dimensions of 8.5 x 0.8 x 5.1 in., with a recommended operating temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C.
