National Instruments PXI-2501

The National Instruments PXI-2501 is a versatile PXI Multiplexer Switch Module designed for high-speed inspection of low-voltage (LV) signals. This module supports 1-, 2-, or 4-wire configurations with a total of 48 channels, making it adaptable for various applications including matrix and multiplexer switching, facilitated by different terminal block accessories. Utilizing FET switches, the PXI-2501 features short settling times and achieves a maximum scan rate of 15,000 channels per second. It is equipped with a comprehensive scan list capable of handling up to 1,024 steps for deterministic scanning, ensuring precise control in complex test environments.

By default, the PXI-2501 operates in two-wire configuration mode, where channel pairs are switched together within corresponding banks. It also possesses a four-wire mode, ideal for resistance measurements, and can be configured as a 2-wire, 6 by 4 crosspoint matrix when paired with the TB-2606 terminal block.
