National Instruments PXI-1052

The National Instruments PXI-1052 Chassis integrates the advantages of both SCXI and PXI platforms, making it an ideal solution for signal conditioning, multiplexing, and switching in various test and measurement applications. Featuring four PXI slots and eight SCXI slots, the PXI-1052 is engineered for enhanced cooling and reduced acoustic emissions, thanks to its intelligent fan-speed control that adjusts according to air intake temperature. This chassis includes an AUTO/HIGH fan-speed selector switch for user convenience. Designed for both benchtop and rack-mounted applications, it features adjustable supporting feet for leveling and optional mounting points for rack-mount kits. Constructed for portability, it is equipped with a built-in carrying handle and has a maximum usable power of 450 W, supporting an input frequency of 50/60 Hz. The device measures 16.2 x 17.3 x 7.0 inches and weighs 29 lbs., ensuring a compact yet robust design. The PXI-1052 operates seamlessly with NI-DAQmx driver software and is compatible with environments such as LabVIEW and Measurement Studio. Configuration is easily managed via the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool. While the chassis is officially at end-of-life status, it remains available through Apex Waves for purchase and repair.
