The National Instruments PXI-1000B is a robust 8-slot PXI chassis designed for 3U modules, featuring one controller slot and seven peripheral slots, each with a cooling capacity of 20 watts. This chassis incorporates a removable modular power supply and includes over-current protection with a push-reset circuit breaker. Users can select between fan speeds to optimize for quiet operation or maximum cooling as needed.
