National Instruments NI-9242

The National Instruments NI-9242 is a high-performance C Series Voltage Input Module designed to facilitate precise voltage measurements in both single-phase and three-phase configurations, including WYE and delta setups. This module features three independent 24-bit analog input channels capable of measuring voltages up to 250 Vrms line-to-neutral and 400 Vrms line-to-line, with simultaneous sampling at a maximum rate of 50 kS/s per channel. The NI-9242 maintains compatibility with the National Instruments LabVIEW Electrical Power Suite, enabling users to develop robust power metering, monitoring, and quality analysis applications. Each channel incorporates an independent analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and signal path, ensuring accurate readings of the voltage between each neutral terminal and the associated AI terminal, as well as between the chassis ground and the neutral terminal.

The operating and storage humidity ranges are 10% to 90% RH and 5% to 95% RH, respectively, while it can withstand random and sinusoidal vibrations of 5 grms and 5 g across a frequency range of 10 to 500 Hz.
