National Instruments NI-9237

The National Instruments NI-9237 is a high-performance Strain Bridge Input Module designed for simultaneous measurement of up to four bridge-based sensors. With a maximum sample rate of 50 kS/s per channel and a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) resolution, the NI-9237 is capable of delivering precise and reliable measurements for a variety of industrial applications, including measurement, control, and communication systems. This module features multiple connectivity options, including D-Sub and RJ-50 connectors. The RJ-50 interface allows direct connectivity to most torque or load cells and supports customized cable configurations with minimal setup. It's important to note that RJ-45 cables should not be utilized as substitutes for RJ-50 cables, as this may result in damage to the connector.

The NI-9237 supports an inter-channel phase delay of zero, enhancing its performance in applications requiring noise rejection and operator safety. It features 60 VDC and 1000 Vrms transient isolation, along with remote sensing capabilities and shunt calibration procedures. The module is compatible with NI-DAQmx version 8.1 and later, allowing integration with popular development environments, including LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI™, Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft Visual Basic, and .NET. Users can leverage LabVIEW's digital signal processing tools to analyze data and develop real-time applications with loop rates of up to 300 MHz.
