The National Instruments NI-9212 is a versatile C Series Temperature Input Module designed for applications requiring precise thermocouple measurements. Available in two models, the NI-9212 features part number 785259-01 with a measurement accuracy of 0.71 degrees Celsius and 60 Vrms channel-to-channel isolation, while part number 782975-01 offers superior accuracy at 0.39 degrees Celsius with 250 Vrms isolation. This module accommodates both CompactDAQ and CompactRIO platforms and is ideal for diverse applications such as in-vehicle data logging, battery stack testing, and testing of white goods.

The NI-9212 provides eight isolated thermocouple channels capable of generating simultaneous samples at a maximum rate of 95 samples per second per channel. Its input voltage range supports signals up to ±78.125 mV, and it features a resistor on each channel to ensure optimal input impedance between the common and thermocouple terminals. The module is equipped with a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter, allowing for high resolution and accuracy in measurement.
