This CLIP functionality provides access to in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) data for a single RF reception channel and features a user command interface for routine configurations of baseband timing, programmable attenuators, receive amplifiers, LO channels, and RF paths, including LO import and export capabilities. The baseband timing can be configured using internal sample clock settings, external reference clocks via the CLK IN connector, or a combination of both.

With a maximum input power of 20 dBm, the NI-5792 has an instantaneous bandwidth of 200 MHz, and dimensions of 5.1 x 0.8 x 4.7 inches, weighing 14.6 ounces.
