The National Instruments NI-5753 is a high-performance 16-bit Digitizer Adapter Module specifically designed for use within FlexRIO systems. This advanced module enables simultaneous sampling of up to 12 channels at a maximum rate of 120 MS/s when combined with a PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO. The NI-5753 is available in two configurations: an AC-coupled version (Part Number 784429-01) that supports 16 channels with a frequency range of 0.1 MHz to 250 MHz, and a DC-coupled version (Part Number 784429-02) that accommodates 12 channels with a frequency range extending from DC to 250 MHz. Utilizing a robust AD9653 type analog-to-digital converter, this module features a 120 MHz internal sample clock, allowing for external sample clock and reference clock access through a dedicated CLK in connector. The AUX I/O capabilities include 16 AC-coupled analog input channels and 12 directional channels (8 DIO and 4 PFI) interfaced through HDMI connectors. Compatible with Kintex-7 and Virtex-5 FPGAs, the NI-5753 in its AC-coupled configuration can operate over an analog input voltage range of -0.9 Vpp to 0.9 Vpp. Additionally, the provided AC-coupled CLIP incorporates a User Command Interface for sending raw I2C and SPI access to the module, as well as selecting various clock modes.
