Honeywell Stryker, 8 IO - CVB4022AS-VAV1/U

The Honeywell Stryker 8 IO is a versatile Variable Air Volume (VAV) controller with a built-in actuator. It comes with 4 User Interfaces, 2 Analog Outputs and 2 Digital Outputs. Configurable to your needs, the controller utilizes the BACnet MS/TP communication protocol and includes an RS-485 port.

This model features a built-in actuator (specific to the CVB4022AS-VAV1 model only) that mounts directly onto the VAV box damper shaft. The actuator provides torque of up to 44 lb-in (5 Nm), a 90-degree stroke, and a 90-second timing at 60 Hz. All wiring connections are made via removable terminal blocks, simplifying both installation and replacement procedures.

The Stryker 8 IO is rated for superior safety with UL Plenum, making both the controller housing and actuator highly rated. It functions as a stand-alone device but is also compatible with BACnet network communications for a fully integrated control system. It supports Sylk-enabled sensors through the Sylk™ bus and up to 30 controllers per BACnet MS/TP segment.

This controller is field configurable for control, input, and output functions using the NIAGARA FRAMEWORK® software, and it includes built-in zone control functions. Users can control air volume through pressure-independent or dependent, and the device includes a Microbridge air flow sensor with dual integral restrictor design.

Operating at a power supply of 24 VAC within a valid range of 20 to 30 VAC, the Stryker 8 IO functions efficiently in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F). Listed and approved widely, it comes with UL/cUL (E87741) Listed under UL916 (Standard for Open Energy Management Equipment) with Plenum Rating CSA (LR95329-3). It meets FCC part 15, Subpart B, Class B (Radiated Emissions) requirements.
