The Honeywell Spyder, 0 IO controller is a programmable VAV controller, equipped with no User Input, Digital Input, Analog Output, nor Digital Output. It is BACnet MS/TP and RS-485 licensed, granting a powerful communication system between machinery. The controller features an inbuilt actuator, real-time clock and Sylk Bus, which can be employed in conjunction with Sylk-enabled sensors. It also supports up to 40 controllers per BACnet MS/TK segment, although under 30 is advisable for better performance.

The controller incorporates an EIA-485 communication network, capable of baud rates between 96 and 1152 kbits/s. An essential feature is the function block engine which essentially allows the application designer to program the controller for diverse HVAC applications. Additionally, built-in zone control functions encompass a remote wall module interface and a scheduler for seamless operation.

Key specifications of this model include a Microbridge Air Flow Sensor with a dual integral restrictor design that facilitates easy user access to air flow sensor inputs. The accompanying actuator mounts directly onto the VAV box damper shaft and can generate up to 44 lb-in (5 Nm) torque, complete with a 90-degree stroke and 90-second timing at 60 Hz.

The Spyder, 0 IO is powered by a 24 VAC with a valid range between 20 to 30 VAC and functions optimally between temperatures of 32 F to 122 F. The controller and actuator are both UL Plenum Rated, with proven safety and efficiency. The equipment meets FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class B for radiated emissions requirements. All wiring connections have been made to removable terminal blocks to simplify controller installation and replacement.
