The Honeywell Solenoid Gas Valve, ranging in size from 3/4 in. to 2 in., is designed to serve as a safety shut-off device. This valve, suitable for use with 110 VAC/120 VAC power sources, exhibits a small body design in conjunction with a large flow integrated valve train body. It normally remains in the closed condition.

One of the significant features of this valve is its compatibility with 120 VAC controllers and its ability to accept the C6097 pressure switch, which can be mounted directly to the flange. It ensures positive closure of gas flow when de-energized and a high value spring force that withstands back pressure up to 0.7 psi at the valve seat.

In an effort to maintain functional reliability, the design of this valve negates the impact of inlet pressure at the valve seat. This means that fluctuations in inlet pressure will not affect the valve's ability to close effectively. The valve is recognized for operating with low noise and low-rush in current, contributing to a more efficient operation. The inclusion of upstream and downstream taps facilitates the process of tapping and testing pressure points.

This versatile valve can accommodate various types of gas including air, natural, manufactured, mixed, and LP. It exhibits a straight-through, non-offset body pattern and a capacity ranging from 1190 cfh to 3060 cfh. Lastly, the valve's operating conditions range from -40 F to 130 F (-40 C to 50 C), optimal for a wide variety of environments.
