The Honeywell Solenoid Gas Valve, measuring at 1 inch NPT, operates at 120 VAC and 5 psi, and is designed to be normally closed. It is ideally used with 120 VAC Controllers. The valve guarantees a positive shut-off of gas flow when de-energized, ensuring optimal safety. Its high-strength spring force allows for up to 0.7 psi back pressure at the valve seat with no influence from inlet pressure, thus maintaining a consistent flow. Changes in inlet pressure will not affect the valve's closing ability.
