The Honeywell Sail Switch is a premier tool that measures operating velocities between 1900 feet per minute (fpm) to 2250 fpm. It is uniquely designed with a Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) switching system, featuring a 3-1/2 inch insertion length and sail dimensions of 1-1/2 inches by 4 inches for optimal performance.

It incorporates a micro snap switch, which is ingeniously operated by a metal sail that is inserted in an air stream. The sail can be modified according to user preference, as it can be trimmed down to half of its original size. This enables the system to double the velocity required to close the snap switch contacts, providing additional versatility.

For improved performance and convenience, the switch differential can be manually adjusted. This is achieved by conveniently turning a knurled knob located on the snap switch, providing ease of use and straightforward operation.
