Honeywell Modutrol IV Motor, Spring Return - M9182A1011/U

The Modutrol IV Motor, Spring Return is a 60 in-lb. torque-rated control unit, operating at 24V and consuming power up to 20 VA. The unit uses a proportional control signal, with a 135 ohm control signal. With an integral junction box, the motor provides NEMA 3 standard weather protection when mounted in an upright position. The unit has been designed to automatically return to its normal position due to its integral spring return feature in case of a power failure.

The motor and circuitry of this Honeywell Modutrol IV unit operate from 24 VAC. For ease of connection, quick-connect terminals are standardly fitted, however, a screw terminal adapter is optional. To match the shaft height of older motors, an adapter bracket is provided.

Moreover, users can adjust the stroke of motors, between 90 to 160 degrees. To fulfill diverse needs, integral auxiliary switches can be factory-mounted or added in the field. All models come with dual shafts, slotted and tapped on both ends. The availability of auxiliary switch cams in all models simplifies operation.

To enhance its performance, fixed torque is maintained throughout the entire voltage range. The power consumption of the unit is 20 VA, designed for operation in challenging settings, with temperature tolerance between -40 F to 150 F (-40 C to 60 C).
