Honeywell Modutrol IV Motor, Spring Return - M8185D1006/U

The Modutrol IV Motor, Spring Return, is a rugged control solution with a torque rating of 60 in-lb. It operates at 24V, consuming 20 VA, and features a two-position, Single-Pole Single-Throw (SPST) control signal. The motor is housed in an integral junction box designed to deliver NEMA 3 weather protection when mounted upright. Mechanisms within the motor and its circuitry are primed to operate efficiently at 24 VAC. Standard on all units are quick-connect terminals, with screw terminal adapters readily available. In terms of compatibility and flexibility, an adapter bracket is offered to match the shaft height of older motors if necessary.

Additionally, these motors feature a field-adjustable stroke, ranging between 90 to 160 degrees. Apart from serving either normally open or normally closed dampers and valves, these motors are equipped with a dual shaft--both slotted and tapped on both ends. As such, they can engage valve linkages from both the power end and auxiliary end shafts in normally open or closed valve applications.

For an added layer of functionality, integral auxiliary switches are available and can be mounted in the factory or added in the field. Finally, dependable operation is guaranteed in various conditions, with the ability to perform in temperatures ranging between -40 F and 150 F (-40 C to 60 C). All electrical connections are facilitated via the quick-connect terminals and the units are housed in NEMA 3 enclosures for optimum protection and durability.
