The Honeywell Modutrol IV Motor, Spring Return is a sophisticated control system motor that is known for its consistent torque performance regardless of voltage fluctuations. This motor has a torque rating of 60 in-lb and operates on a power rating of 120V and 20 VA. It features a Single-Pole, Single-Throw (SPST) two-position switch and includes a transformer.

The Modutrol IV Motor distinctly maintains operational versatility, capable of running valve linkages from either the power end or auxiliary end shafts to suit normally closed or normally open valve applications. All models come equipped with dual shafts, both slotted and tapped on each end.

When power is interrupted, the integral spring return feature kicks in to return the motor to its initial position, ensuring no disruption in automation processes. Moreover, an integrated junction box provides NEMA 3-grade weather protection, effective when the motor is mounted upright.

Operating from a 24 VAC power source, this motor's circuitry is designed for efficiency and resilience. Ease of use is guaranteed with the inclusion of standard quick-connect terminals, with an available screw terminal adapter on offer. There are also provisions for an adapter bracket to match the shaft height of older motors.

The Modutrol IV motor is designed for 90 to 160 degrees field-adjustable stroke, catering to normally closed or open valves and dampers. For enhanced operational convenience, integral auxiliary switches can be factory fitted or added in the field. This motor operates under conditions from -40 F to 150 F (-40 C to 60 C) and uses quick connect terminals for electrical connections. It also supports operation with two auxiliary switches.
