Honeywell Gas Valve, Small Body Valve Train - V5097C1000/U

The Honeywell Small Body Gas Valve is an integrated low-pressure valve with on and off safety shut-off functionality, enhanced by a double seal mechanism. The valve comes in varying pipe sizes including 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1-1/4 inch, and 2 inch, with a maximum operating pressure of 5 psi. It is suitable for use with V9055, V4055, and V4062 valve trains.

This gas valve also boasts three upstream and two downstream taps of 1/4 inch to 18 NPT, simplifying the attachment to gas supply lines. It offers seven pipe adapter sizes ranging from 3/4 inch to 3 inches, designed with either NPT or BSP threaded connections for versatile applications. An enhanced CE version of the device provides an additional downstream tap and plug for better control.

One stand-out feature is the yellow SHUT indicator, conveniently attached to the valve stem. This provides a clear, visual indication of the valve's closed position, ensuring accurate monitoring of the system’s operating status. This valve is specifically designed for On/Off service, allowing for easy system control.

With its double seal feature, this gas valve is used in tandem with V4055D,E actuators to provide proof-of-closure switch and valve seal over-travel interlock, enhancing safety and reliability. This device accommodates both natural and LP gas with a variable capacity of 665 to 3620 cubic feet per hour. The operating temperature range for this gas valve is from -40 F to 150 F (-40 C to 66 C), making it highly adaptable to various environmental conditions.
