The Honeywell 8-inch Duct Temperature Sensor is designed with a 3K ohm NTC Thermistor Sensor Type for precise temperature sensing in industrial applications. The sensor operates with a nominal resistance of 3000 ohms at a standard 77°F (25°C). This user-friendly model requires no setting adjustments or calibration, ensuring hassle-free operation.

Notably, the solid-state components of the sensor remain unaffected by environmental factors like dust or dirt, confirming its reliability and longevity. This fast-reacting sensor comes equipped with a rugged stainless steel insertion probe for durability and long-term use. It is designed for versatile mounting, as it can be mounted on duct or plenum surfaces using a mounting flange or installed in a 2-inch by 4-inch (51mm by 102mm) junction box.

This Honeywell temperature sensor uses a carbon-type, negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor sensing element found in the C7046A, B, C models, and a platinum thin film, positive temperature coefficient (PTC) element in the C7046D model.
