The Honeywell Duct Temperature Sensor, measuring 12 inches, utilizes a 3K ohm NTC Thermistor Sensor. This sensor offers a nominal resistance of 3000 ohms at 77°F (25°C), guaranteeing precise readings without requiring any settings or calibration. Thanks to its solid-state components, the sensor remains unaffected by dust or dirt, ensuring consistent performance in diverse industrial environments.

The sensing element of this sensor features a carbon-type, Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) Thermistor in the C7046A, B, C variants, and a Platinum Thin Film, Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) element in the C7046D variant.
