The Discharge Water Temperature Controller offers innovative cooling solutions for industrial chiller air applications. Part of the distinguished W7100 Family Control System, this product is ideal for controlling water temperatures through sequenced on and off operations of compressors, water tower unloaders, and additional cooling components.

Equipped with remote set point capability via the S963B Potentiometer, this controller can ensure precision temperature settings. Its design allows for up to six stages of cooling and can be expanded up to ten cooling stages with the addition of the W7101A. The unit employs an advanced Proportional Plus Integral microprocessor control algorithm to minimize temperature discrepancies and create a more stabilized operating environment.

The controller features a soft start function that mitigates excess compressor cycling during system startup, giving you a smoother operational transition. Users can adjust minimum on/off timing along with the delay between stages, with options of either 30 or 60 seconds, tailoring the device’s response time to their specific needs. Additionally, it offers the ability to reset discharge water temperature based on either outdoor air or space sensor signal, hence providing a versatile temperature controlling experience.

The C7170 sensor, when used in conjunction, aids in accurately sensing water temperature. The unit also includes LEDs to indicate which stages of cooling are energized, providing clear, instant feedback on the system's status.
