Honeywell Direct Coupled Actuator, Spring Return - VU443A1008/B

The Honeywell Direct Coupled Actuator, Spring Return, operates at 120 volts AC and has a power consumption of 6 watts. It features a two-position control mechanism and a single pole, single throw (SPST) configuration.

This device is streamlined with corrosion-resistance for ease of installation, and is compatible with a 2-way normally closed (NC) VU valve body, specified as VU53. The compact design of the actuator allows it to fit under the cover of majority of baseboard convectors once it's attached to the valve body.

The actuator has a secure, three-point metal latch to the valve body and features both line or low voltage motors that are resistant to rust. The actuator is engineered for one-button quick release function which enables easy reinstallation or service, without the need to drain the system or disassemble the valve.

Designed with user convenience in mind, it includes a manual opener for installation and valve operation in the event of a power failure, allowing the valve to return to its automatic position when power is restored. The device is also built with a slotted conduit hole for faster wiring process.

The actuator can effectively function within an ambient temperature range of 34 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit, and can handle fluid temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a durable stainless-steel case with an aluminum cover and comes with 6-inch electrical leads for simple and effective connections.
