The Honeywell CIPer50 Controller is a programmable plant controller that offers versatility and superior control functions to cater to various applications. This controller has 26 I/O, comprising of 10 UI, 4 BI, 4 AO, 8 BO making it an optimal solution for general purposes, AHU, lighting, and security applications. It can be integrated with BACnet IP or a Niagara network, and can simultaneously support a subnetwork of BACnet MS/TP or Modbus RTU. The controller features two Ethernet ports, two RS-485 ports and comes with a Panel-Bus interface.
Powerful features like alarming, log/trending, and a real-time clock optimize the controller's functionality. Moreover, the ability to supervise up to 5 field devices (100 points) with a maximum of 50, makes the controller quite versatile. Powered by Niagara4, the CIPer50 Controller offers capabilities to manage 100 Panel-Bus points, accommodating hardware and software points against the point license.
Further, the in-built energy management functions incorporate metering (Modbus), thereby significantly enhancing energy efficiency. Other built-in features include alarms, schedules, trends, histories, graphics/schematics, email, and SMS. The controller also houses an HVAC application library, enabling optimal energy efficiency and performance. The design incorporates continuous adaptation to building characteristics, contributing to elevated levels of efficiency.
In terms of design, the CIPer50 Controller includes separate wiring sockets for quick exchange without rewiring and compact mixed I/O modules. It supports over 1000 physical I/Os, plus distributed mounting of I/O modules allowing for an extended range of up to 2400ft / 800m.
In terms of technical specifications, the power consumption holds between 19 to 29 VAC or 20 to 30 VDC, 10 VA and it operates in the temperature range of 32 F to 122 F (0 C to 50 C). The controller meets the FIPS-1402 standards and uses WEBs-N4 Niagara Framework for programming. Communication networks supported include BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, Lonworks, Modbus RTU, and Modbus TCP.
