Applicable for a range of pipe sizes between 2 to 20 inches, this Butterfly Valve comes with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It supports bi-directional flow, and includes an extended neck for accommodating up to 2 inches of pipe insulation. The valve's disks are crafted from nylon 11 coated cast iron, providing excellent resistance against corrosion, reducing friction, and allowing for the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.
Further enhancing its corrosion resistance, the stainless steel valve stem of this Butterfly Valve incorporates a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, which doesn't provide any points for corrosion access. The valve offers bubble-tight seat leakage at rated close-off.
